The LA Alliance for Human Rights lawsuit resulted in the commitments of the City and County of Los Angeles to reach specific metrics relating to addressing homelessness in the region. Those metrics focus on creating beds to provide more places for people living on the street to go, reducing the number of encampments in the City, and increasing the number of treatment beds. The metrics below show the goals that the City and County agreed to achieve in each area, and the number of beds created, encampments reduced, and treatment beds added as reported to the court. The City has updated its metrics through December 2024. We are waiting on the County to do the same.
